Chances are you will be hosting or attending a holiday potluck at some point in the future, so if you’re racking your brain trying to figure out what to bring, no need, because we have eight amazing and crowd-pleasing options!

No. 1: Damaris Phillips' Herb and Sausage Quiche

This quiche can be made ahead and frozen, then defrosted and cooked on the day of your event. Make a few and pop them in the freezer until you need them!

No. 2: Butternut Squash and Escarole Lasagna

This rich and delicious, are dare we say, nutritious, butternut squash and escarole lasagna is both elegant and down to earth at the same time.

No. 3: Caroline Manzo’s Mashed Potatoes

Caroline Manzo of The Real Housewives of New Jersey really amps up her mashed potatoes by adding prosciutto, lots of cheese, cream and sage. Delish!

No. 4: Peas with Prosciutto

This dish really couldn’t be more simple. Just crisp up some prosciutto in a pan, add peas, then chicken stock or your cooking liquid of choice, and simmer. Done!

No. 5: Wild Mushroom Bread Pudding

Emeril Lagasse’s savory bread pudding is a great way to break from the ordinary and wow your friends!

No. 6: Michael Symon’s Cheesy Broccoli Gratin

This simple but delightful side starts with sauteeing broccoli in a hot pan, then adding cream, nutmeg and garlic and letting it cook a bit. Mix in some gruyere cheese, then top with thinly sliced scallions and toasted panko breadcrumbs. Delish!

No. 7: Marc Murphy’s Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Marc starts by shocking his sprouts in salted boiling water to keep that beautiful bright green color, then sautees with bacon – that’s it! Super simple and doesn’t require the oven!

No. 8: Lasagna Bolognese

Fabio Viviani’s rich Bolognese-style meat lasagna is the real deal, and is so special that it made our second list of “Foods to Make Before You Die.” Fabio evens challenges you to make your own pasta – why not?
