Whether you’re trying to impress a new flame, or treat your longtime love to a special meal, we’ve got eight delicious dinner options that will impress your significant other.

No. 1: Skirt Steak with Mean, Green Romesco

Rachael pairs a grilled skirt steak with a nutty green tomatillo romesco sauce. As a bonus, this meal is completely gluten-free.

No. 2: Drunken Spaghetti with Mushrooms and Chard

For this dish, your pasta “drinks” up red wine until it’s infused. Rach tosses it with sautéed lardons, chard, baby portobellos and grated Pecorino or Parimigiano-Reggiano – yum!

No. 3: Burgers au Poivre

These delicious burgers are seasoned with Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic and lots of course black pepper. Rach serves them on a toasted bun with a creamy Dijon spread – delish!

No. 4: Maple Pork Chops with Brown Butter, Apples and Onions

This complex dish is sure to wow your special someone! Rach browns pork chops, then finishes them in a sauce that features garlic, shallot, maple syrup, chicken stock, Worcestershire and tamari. Rach garnishes with fried crispy sage leaves and serves with a side of apples and onions cooked in brown butter. Yum!

No. 5: Fettuccine with Champagne Cream Sauce and Sage Toast

This festive vegetarian pasta dish features part of a bottle of bubbly, so you can drink the rest with your date while it’s cooking!

No. 6: Buffalo Steaks with Braised Celery, Carrots and Parsnips

If your guy or gal loves buffalo, this is the steak for him or her! Rach tops a juicy steak with a buffalo sauce and crumbled blue cheese. Yum!

No. 7: Roast Rosemary and Garlic-Infused Beef with Celeriac and Crispy Roasties

For this roast, Clodagh inserts rosemary and garlic right into the meat. She cooks it over a bed of diced potatoes and diced celeriac (celery root) tossed with olive oil, rosemary and salt and pepper. Yum!

No. 8: Emeril Lagasse’s Barbacoa Tacos

For a slightly more casual but no less flavorful meal, try these to-die-for tacos. Emeril slow cooks a chuck roast until it is so tender that it falls apart, then served up with salsa, cream and avocados on tortillas. Yum!
