Playing Audrey Johns’ Guacamole Dip


  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 2/3 cup 0% Greek yogurt
  • 4 to 6 tablespoons salsa
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Veggie sticks, for serving


Serves: 4


Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop the flesh out into a medium bowl. Use a fine grater to shred the garlic clove into the bowl. If you want the guacamole super spicy, add more garlic.

Smash the avocado and garlic together with the back of a fork until smooth. Add the yogurt, salsa, lime juice, tomato, onion, jalapeño and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix together, taste and add more lime juice or salt as needed.

Serve with veggie sticks. I love carrots and bell peppers with this one, but you can find more options.
