- 1/3 cup Kahlúa
- 3 tablespoons good-quality vodka
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
- Zest of 1 navel orange
In a measuring cup, combine Kahlúa and vodka, and gently stir to blend. Pour mixture into 2 tall chilled glasses.
In a blender, mix ice cream, milk, orange liquor and zest of half an orange until just blended.
Pour milkshake over so that it floats on top of Kahlúa mixture. Grate more orange zest on top. Serve immediately.
