Happy Halloween! The perfect snack to eat under the spooky carnival big top is of course popcorn, so Sunny Anderson cooked up three scrumptious variations perfect for the event.
Popcorn that tastes like pepperoni pizza? Sign us up! The popcorn is popped in pepperoni grease (see how it’s done here) and then topped with the cooked pepperoni pieces, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese.
If you haven’t pumpkin-spiced your popcorn yet, you’re seriously missing out. Anderson toasts up some pepitas (that’s fancy talk for pumpkin seeds, FYI), and adds some pumpkin pie spice right at the end of toasting. Add them to your warm popcorn, toss ‘em all together and you’re done!
Leftover Candy Popcorn Balls
True champs don’t have leftover candy because they’ve eaten it all, but in the event that you happen to, turn them into these fun, chocolatey treats. Melt the candy bars with a little butter, add popped popcorn, marshmallow fluff and mix it up. Dust off your muffin tin and fill each one with the popcorn mixture. Let it set and get ready to devour! (By the way, we agree with Anderson -- there is nothing fun about a tiny candy bar.)
