- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- For the margarita: 2 ounces silver tequila
- 2 ounces fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 1 ounce cranberry simple syrup
For the simple syrup, heat all ingredients in a saucepan until cranberries are tender but haven’t burst. Strain, let cool, and store in the refrigerator.
For the margarita, combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well and strain into an ice filled rocks glass.
