Dr. Ian Smith's PB&J Smoothie

Serves 1 smoothie

2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup vitamin D-fortified whole, low-fat or skim milk or unsweetened almond, soy or coconut milk
1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon unsalted organic peanut butter
1 teaspoon organic vanilla protein powder
10 small ice cubes


Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
