Ingredients
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 1-inch piece fresh turmeric, peeled or 2 tablespoons ground turmeric
  • One-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • Sparkling water, for topping
Preparation

Using a sharp knife, remove the rind and the white pith from the lemons. Place the lemon, turmeric, agave nectar and 1 cup water into a blender, and blend on high until smooth. Place a small strainer or sieve over a bowl and strain the mixture.
 
Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in 1/4 of the lemon-turmeric mixture. Top off with some soda, taste and add more agave if needed.
