For the chili salt:
  • 1/4 cup Kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
For the beergarita:
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • A few dashes of hot sauce
  • 1 bottle of light Mexican beer
  • Lime slices, for garnish

Combine ingredients for chili salt on a plate. Run a slice of lime around the rim of a chilled pint glass and dip the glass into the chili salt to coat the rim.
Pour tequila and lime juice into the glass. Add two or three dashes of hot sauce then pour in the bottle of beer. Sprinkle a little more chili salt over the top, garnish with a lime slice and enjoy!
