One of the most popular resolutions for 2017 is to try to cook more and eat out less.

All February, viewers at home can participate in our #24daysofdinner challenge, which encourages families to cook and eat, at home, together 6 out 7 days each week (because there’s gotta be a little wiggle room).

These delicious dinner ideas all call for five ingredients or fewer (pantry staples like spices and EVOO are freebies). Consider this your go-to list for getting a home-cooked meal on the table every night—no matter how tired your are or how crazy your day was.

Tournedos with Creamed Spinach

These buttery steaks are grilled until juicy then topped with creamed spinach that gets a creamy parmesan cheese upgrade. If Popeye got a load of this, he’d never go back to plain spinach again.

5-Ingredient White Ziti

This white ziti has mozzarella, ricotta and parmesan cheese combined with toothsome white ziti. An unexpected pop of green from frozen spinach is both beautiful and delicious.

Stuffed Cabbage Cake with Sausage

Sausage and onions are layered with cabbage in this savory torte. Serve with mustard and garlicky mashed potatoes for a beautiful, hearty dish.

Roast Broccoli or Broccoli Rabe with Sausages

It doesn’t get any easier or tastier than nutty roasted broccoli or broccoli rabe with juicy Italian sausage and a drizzle of sweet and tangy balsamic vinegar. Leftovers are delicious on a sandwich.

Roast Spatchcock Chicken with Mojo Sauce

Cumin-rubbed chicken is roasted until crisp then served with a spicy cilantro-laden mojo sauce that might just become your newest addiction. Add it to roast potatoes, mayonnaise or anything else that needs a kick.

Zucchini Frittata Pizza Margherita

This veggie-forward frittata gets a hint of summer with zucchini and sweet fresh tomatoes. Fresh basil adds a fresh, verdant note to a dish that is as tasty room temperature as it is piping hot.

Orange Rosemary Chicken with Crispy Prosciutto

This dish looks fancy but comes together with a few ingredients in just a bit of time. Juicy chicken gets a tangy orange glaze before it’s topped with crispy prosciutto. Don’t expect any leftovers with this showstopper.

Cauliflower all'Alfredo Sauce

Creamy pureed cauliflower gets the Alfredo treatment with parmesan cheese. It’s poured over hot pasta and becomes a lighter, if still rich, version of classic Alfredo sauce.

Roast Squash and Chicken Thighs

This homey dinner is so warming and comforting you won’t believe how simple it is to prepare. Chicken thighs get coated in mustard and maple syrup then baked over sweet delicata squash. Don’t forget to eat the squash’s skin. It’s delicious!

Steaks with Bacon and Mushrooms

These hearty steaks are grilled in skillets with bacon grease then topped with juicy mushrooms and crispy bacon. If loving meat and mushrooms is wrong, we don’t want to be right.

Spaghetti with Broccoli Rabe and Salami

This spicy, meaty spaghetti sauce comes together with bitter broccoli rabe, garlicky salami and just a pinch of red chile flakes. Don’t forget a liberal serving of sharp cheese, like pecorino romano.

Carbonara Strata Frittata

This creamy, cheesy breakfast-for-dinner dish combines chewy peasant bread, crispy pancetta and the creamy, eggy goodness of a quiche. Serve with a quick salad and you’ve got a winning meal that’s delicious hot or room temperature.

Avocado Toast

It’s trendy, it’s vegan and it’s irresistibly delicious. Sure, you could top with a poached egg or a side of chicken sausage but why would you? This meal is tasty on its own and craveable enough to eat at least 3 or 4 portions.
