• 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 ounces dry Rose wine
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 2 leaves basil, torn
  • 2 ounces soda water
  • 1 lemon slice

In a small saucepot, combine honey and 1/4 cup of water. Bring to a bubble and reduce heat. Cook until honey syrup has reduced by half.

Combine rose, vodka, lemon juice, 1 ounce honey syrup and basil in a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into an ice-filled glass and top with soda water. Serve garnished with a lemon slice. (Store remaining honey syrup in a container in the refrigerator for other cocktails!)
