Rach is of course the queen of 30 minute meals, and now chef Fabio Viviani is joining in on the quick-cooking fun with his new cookbook called “Fabio's 30-Minute Italian.”

It features over 100 quick and easy recipes that you can make in just 30 minutes or less!

Don’t believe him?

Here’s proof! We gave the audience three dishes from his cookbook to choose from -- whichever got the most votes is what Fabio had to cook in real time, right here on our set!

“The concept of quick cooking goes along with easy and simple pantry items,” says Fabio. “If you spend 30 minutes cooking but you’ve got to spend two hours at the grocery store, it kind of defeats the purpose!”

“So quick ingredients, reuse multiple ingredients across different dishes, getting your base ahead so you might have something for the next day… that’s kind of the ingenuity there in the kitchen.”

MAKE: 30-MINUTE MEAL: Pork Chops and Broccoli with Red Wine Onion Agrodolce

The options we gave from his cookbook were Italian Sweet Sausage With Charred Serrano Pepper Potato Salad, Ricotta and Sausage-Stuffed Tomatoes, and Prosecco-Braised Chicken With Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Leeks.

And while those all sound incredible (and it was a close call) we could only choose one. The winner was….

Prosecco-Braised Chicken!

Watch him cook it up in the video above -- mind you, it actually only took him 15 minutes to make! Click here to get the recipe and see the tadaaa below!
