- 3 shots vodka
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
- Juice of 2 medium lemons
- 6 basil leaves, divided
- 4 ounces prosecco or sparkling wine
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add vodka, jam, lemon juice and 4 torn basil leaves. Shake well and pour into 2 ice-filled glasses. Top with 2 ounces of prosecco and garnish each cocktail with a torn basil leaf.
Tip: I made this cocktail with the 2 thick, chopped stems of basil I had left over after making pesto. It was a perfect use up of something I would have normally thrown away!
