Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra-virgin
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup quinoa
- Fine sea salt, to taste
Yield
Serves: 1
Preparation
Stir together olive oil, honey, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
Preheat a saucepan over high heat. Add quinoa and cover, then immediately lower heat to medium. Shake pot constantly over medium heat to keep the quinoa moving as it pops.
Once quinoa has popped, remove pot from heat and immediately transfer the popped quinoa to a bowl. Stir in the honey mixture until popped quinoa is evenly coated. Season with salt, then toss to coat.
