This is an amazing way to serve garlic knots at a party—fun to pull apart, they retain heat well and are easy to prep ahead so you can throw them in the oven 20 minutes before guests arrive to perfume the house.
PRO TIP: Once prepped, you can freeze these and bake when ready.
Preheat oven to 400˚F. Grease a baking sheet. In a bowl, combine salami and garlic.
On a work surface, unroll the pizza dough, then cut crosswise into 12 pieces. Working with 1 piece at a time, roll the dough between your hands to form a 7-inch-long rope. Tie each rope of dough into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the knots with the egg and sprinkle with the salami mixture and coarse salt. Bake until golden, about 18 minutes. Arrange on a platter and serve.
