Playing RuPaul's Drag Race's Ross Mathews On Joke He Made After Meeting "Three-Fifths of the Spice Girls"

Spice up your life with Ross Mathews' bourbon-spiked Zig-a-Zig A-maretto Sour—inspired by the hit Spice Girls song "Wannabe" (get it?!). This recipe comes from the "RuPaul's Drag Race" judge's new memoir, Name Drop, which is filled with "the really good celebrity stories I usually only tell only tell at happy hour."

  • 1 ½ ounces amaretto liqueur
  • ¾ ounce bourbon
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup* (sugar and water)

Serves: 1

Combine amaretto, bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice and shake feverishly for about 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and enjoy with at least four other friends.

*For the simple syrup, use equal parts water and sugar, heated until dissolved.
