This basic sauce is perfect for drizzling over pancakes, sundaes or anything that could use a little chocolate.
Buddy uses this chocolate sauce in his Waffle Birthday Cake.
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 9 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
Put the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium-high heat. As soon as it begins to simmer, remove the pot from the heat. Add the chocolate and stir with a wooden spoon until melted, then stir in the corn syrup.
