Gail Simmons shares her recipe for the easiest chocolate sauce ever—which also happens to be one of her favorite toppings for her Coconut Rice Pudding.
Ingredients
- ½ cup chopped dark chocolate, 68% or higher
- 1 cup heavy cream
Yield
Serves: 2 to 4
Preparation
In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate and cream on low heat. When it starts to melt, begin stirring it consistently, slowly incorporating the chocolate into the cream. Continue stirring until the sauce is smooth, blended and pourable. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for 3 to 5 minutes before using.
