After a lifelong struggle with his weight, Dustin Brown decided to share his story on social media and ended up not only changing his own life, but also inspiring others to do the same. One of the keys to his weight loss is reducing calories and adding protein in dishes, including this pizza, which he loves. "It's healthy and has no processed sugar," he says. "A delicious pizza under five hundred calories that's easy to make!" He loads it with his favorite veggies, but feel free to substitute yours.

Dustin also makes this tasty low-calorie, high-protein "ice cream" that doesn't require any churning!

Ingredients

  • 1 large (about 12 inches) high-fiber tortilla (preferably whole wheat)
  • ¼ to ½ cup tomato sauce, homemade or jarred
  • 3 ounces of your preferred cheese
  • 4 or 5 turkey pepperoni slices
  • 2 button mushrooms, sliced
  • ¼ green pepper, roughly chopped

Yield

Serves: Makes 1 personal pizza

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the wrap on a baking sheet and let it crisp in the oven while it's preheating.

When the oven reaches 375°F, pull the crispy tortilla out of the oven. Top with sauce, cheese, pepperoni and veggies.

Bake for 10 minutes. Slice into 8 pieces.
