"I kind of stole the name from one of [our] favorite Indian restaurants in New York City, GupShup," John says. "It's sort of like a Moscow Mule, but I added some Indian spices."
Rach likes to serve this drink with her Chickpea Curry.
- 1 ½ ounces vodka
- ½ to ¼ ounce simple syrup steeped with ground turmeric and grated ginger, to taste
- 1 lime, juiced
- Ginger beer or ginger ale
In a glass filled with ice, combine ingredients and stir.
