Playing How To Make an Old Fashioned Spritzer | #StayHome With John Cusimano

Rach's husband John created this summery cocktail to pair with Rach's Whisky Wings, which are made with bourbon—and an Old Fashioned is a bourbon-based cocktail.

"This spritzer version has the vibe of an Old Fashioned, but it's not this big, heavy drink—it's a light, sparkling drink!" he says.

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ ounces bourbon
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • A few dashes angostura bitters
  • 1 large orange wedge (about ¼ of an orange), plus 1 orange slice, for garnish
  • Club soda or seltzer
Yield
Serves: 1
Preparation

In a collins glass, combine bourbon, syrup and bitters. Squeeze in the juice from the orange wedge. Add ice, then top with club soda. Stir, then garnish with orange slice.

Always drink responsibly.
