We’re turning up the heat in the kitchen with five New York firefighters battling it out to become the “5 Alarm Cook-Off” champion! Judge Jenny McCarthy will decide the title with 10 local nurses, including two from each borough. "They say firemen know how to cook, so I'm ready to see it!" says Jenny, while offering one hint to the contestants: "I do like a nice presentation ... you have to really care what it looks like."
What's at stake? Five thousand dollars, a $2,500 Key Food gift card, GE Energy Star appliances for their station house courtesy of P.C. Richard & Son, and dinner for the winner and nine friends at the Old Homestead Steakhouse plus the opportunity to be a celebrity chef at the restaurant for one night to benefit the FDNY Foundation!
