Mother’s Day is only two days away, but if you haven't thought of a gift for mom yet, you're in luck! We have eight affordable do-it-yourself projects that the mom in your life will love!

No. 1: DIY Coffee Coconut Scrub

A viewer shared the recipe for this scrub and said it can help with fine lines. Mix coconut oil and ground coffee to make a simple exfoliating and moisturizing scrub.

No. 2: DIY Hanging Wine Glass Rack

Learn how to take a discarded wooded shipping pallet and build a beautiful hanging wood wine glass rack for mom!

Tip: Clean pallets with a power washer before building with them.

No. 3: Etch Your Own Glass Vases

You can customize your vase any way you like, and the result looks expensive despite costing practically nothing. You could even etch the initials of the kids onto the side! How neat!

No. 4: Initial Coasters

Going along with the initial theme, why not make mom a set of coasters with the initials of everyone in the family? Or you could do mom’s monogram, or the initial to represent the family name. The possibilities are endless!

No. 5: Hidden Cabinet Organization

Here’s something you could do after mom goes to sleep. Sneak into the kitchen and build a little organization center on the inside of a cabinet. Just paint some chalkboard paint on the inside of a well-placed cabinet and screw in some basic hooks.

No. 6: Playing Card Platter

This is a great gift for moms who like to play games with the family. And you could use the playing card platter to serve mom breakfast in bed!

No. 7: Globe Pendant Lamp

This is another one that is fun to make with kids, and you probably already have a globe lying around your house somewhere. Watch to learn how to make this cool gift!

No. 8: Lego Birdfeeder

This might be our favorite of all the kid-friendly DIY projects on the list. It’s a functional birdfeeder made of legos! All the kids can work together on one birdfeeder, or each kid can make their own and you could hang them off the same branch in your yard. Fun for everyone and mom will surely love it.
