Stephanie O'Dea felt she wasn't cooking enough for her family, so as 2008 approached she made a New Year's resolution: to create a home-cooked meal every night for an entire year using the one method she knows best -- her slow cooker!
Since January 1st, slow cooking fans everywhere have been flocking to her blog @[A Year of Slow Cooking](http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/) to see how she's working her way toward 365 different slow cooker recipes. Rachael asks her if there's anything she misses from conventional cooking. "I don't miss the stove top or the oven," Stephanie admits, "but I miss the barbecue and I miss my husband taking over some of the cooking tasks. And no last-minute take-out as well!"
Stephanie demonstrates that in addition to making meals in the slow cooker, you can also use it to bake and make desserts. Check out the video above for her recipe for crème brûlée.
