Jackie Cummings Koski grew up in poverty and vowed to learn all about investing to provide for her daughter—and she did, was able to retire at age 49, and even shares her tips in her book Money Letters 2 My Daughter. We're in awe of Jackie! 

"I grew up in poverty. I was raised by a single dad with six kids and it was hard. I remember being on the free lunch program when we were in school. I thought I was doing great. I got married, I had a daughter, and after being married for 11 years, I got a divorce. So, I became a single mom in my mid-thirties and I felt like I was just starting over," says Jackie. "I vowed to myself and to my daughter that I would learn about money and investing, and that changed everything for me."
