Impractical Jokers On Starting "Dinner Party" In Quarantine: We Just Missed Having Dinner Together

"Impractical Jokers" Joe Gatto & James Murray tell the story of how their new at-home show "Dinner Party" with their two other co-stars, Sal Vulcano & Brian Quinn, came about during the pandemic.

"We knew that we had to shut down Season 9 of 'Impractical Jokers' when everything started shutting down," Joe says, "and we wanted to make a TV show during these times where we get together and be in the homes and make people laugh."

"It also started from a real place," James adds. "The guys and I have been friends for 30 years, as you know, Rachael, and this is the longest we haven't seen each other in 30 years. So honestly, we just missed having dinner together and seeing each other — so that's how the show got birthed."
