Kristin Cavallari Says She Wasn't Really Supposed To Star In Her Reality Show Very Cavallari

As a mom of three (and mom of three dogs, four ducks and 30 chickens!), former "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" star Kristin Cavallari says she wanted to get back into reality TV to give her jewelry line, Uncommon James, exposure — not for screen time.

"It's kind of ironic, because when I first pitched 'Very Cavallari,' I wasn't really supposed to be on it," Kristin tells Rach. "I wasn't even really wanting to get back into reality, but I wanted to do it for exposure for my company, Uncommon James. So it was really a business decision for me, and I thought I would just pop in and out here and there."

Fast forward to season 3, and Kristin says she and her husband, Jay Cutler, share about 85 percent of the screen time — as opposed to the first two seasons where it was split more evenly with her Uncommon James employees.

With that said, Kristin says she and Jay have scheduling boundaries. "I tell them I have to be home every night at 5 o'clock to have dinner with my family," the mom of three tells Rach. "I never film on the weekends. It kind of had to work on my terms this time around, or else I wasn't going to do it."
