Shopping List: Cook Three Meals from One Grocery Bag

Rachael's newest cookbook, Week In a Day, is out today and she is already giving you a peek at what's up next! The book includes a section devoted to her new Food Network show, 3 in the Bag, with recipes so you can get triple the meals out of a single grocery bag. To show you how it works, she's whipping up Spicy Ziti with Sausage, Skillet Chicken with Hot & Sweet Peppers and Bacon Burgers with Caramelized Onions & Gorgonzola all from the shopping list below.

The Grocery Bag:

⅓ pound slab bacon
2 pounds ground sirloin or chuck
1 pound hot Italian sausage or fresh Mexican chorizo
8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
½ pound gorgonzola cheese
4 large onions
2 frying or bell peppers (red or green)
2 fresh red fresnos or jalapeños
Baby arugula (a couple of handfuls) or 1 bunch watercress
1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
1 bunch fresh rosemary
2 (28-or 32-ounce) cans san marzano tomatoes with basil
1 pound ziti rigate
4 kaiser rolls
1 (750 ml) bottle white wine
1 (750 ml) bottle red wine

Optional side

4 Portuguese or ciabatta rolls 

In the Pantry
Pecorino or parm cheese
Garlic
Beef stock and chicken stock
EVOO
Sweet paprika (smoked or regular)
