3 Bakeries Face Off in a Dramatic Wedding Cake Showdown

Three notable cake bakeries from New York City and surrounding areas are facing off to try to win the honor of baking the wedding cake for Hunter Tribe and Brittney Reed, a couple who is marrying on our show this week!

First up, Ann from Pink Cake Box in New Jersey makes a pink champagne cake topped with a whimsical and intricate floral wreath.

Cake number two comes courtesy of Sugar Monster Sweets of Brooklyn. Owner Ashley went for an offbeat vibe, incorporating donuts into her golden 7-tiered design!

The last entry comes from Lisa and Steve of Sweet Lisa’s Exquisite Cakes in Connecticut. Lisa and Steve’s design melds whimsy and tradition, featuring heart-shaped kettle bells as a nod to Hunter and Brittney’s Crossfit passion, as well as a Fleur de Lys motif to commemorate their first date in New Orleans. As the piece de resistance, the pair made a fun sugar sculpture of the happy couple sitting atop the cake!
