So, while the stars of “Restored By the Fords” say homeowners tend to shy away from black paint because it makes a space feel smaller, Leanne and Steve embrace it -- but on the ceiling, not the walls!

"It makes [the space] more vast," Leanne explains. "Like the night sky."
