Rachael's Maple-Bacon-Cider Gravy
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons butter
- Cracked black pepper
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoon apple cider
- 4 slices cooked bacon, minced, plus bacon drippings
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 quart turkey stock
Preparation
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Whisk in pepper and flour. Add apple cider, bacon, bacon drippings, maple syrup and cook about one minute. Whisk in stock, raise heat a bit and thicken gravy to lightly coat spoon.
