Rachael's Little Italy Gravy

Ingredients
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • Cracked black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 palmful granulated garlic
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 quart turkey stock
  • A handful of fresh herbs such as basil and parsley
Preparation
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Whisk in pepper and flour. Add garlic and red wine, and let it cook out, about one minute. Whisk in stock. Raise heat a bit and thicken gravy to lightly coat spoon. Mix in fresh herbs to finish.
