2-Ingredient Slow Cooker Tomato Sauce
Bumper crop of tomatoes? Make this 2-ingredient slow cooker sauce from Bob Harper, which he says freezes well too.
Ingredients
- 10 to 12 plum tomatoes, sliced in half
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken stock
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
In a slow cooker, add the tomatoes, chicken stock, salt and pepper. Set on high for 6 hours or low for 8 hours with the lid ajar.
Using an immersion blender, blend the contents of the slow cooker.
