4 Delicious Ways to Take Your Spiral Sliced Ham to the Next Level

Food & Fun - By on

What could be a more delicious (or easier) way to feed a crowd than with a kicked-up spiral-sliced ham? But you don’t have to rely on the glaze packet that comes with the ham – we have four delicious options that will take your roast to the next level!

No. 1: Grant's Root Beer-Ginger Ham Glaze

For this sweet and slightly spicy option, Grant coats his store-bought ham with a ginger-infused root beer, molasses and brown sugar glaze, and roasts, basting every so often.

No. 2: Grant’s Pomegranate-Ancho Ham

For this delicious entrée, Grant makes a glaze of pomegranate juice, sugar, ancho chile powder and allspice, for a beautiful and richly flavored ham.

No. 3: Tina’s Pineapple Sriracha Ham

For something totally different, Tina makes a spicy sweet glaze with crushed pineapple, honey, freshly grated ginger, light brown sugar and a good squeeze of Sriracha hot sauce. Just coat your ham before cooking, and glaze every 20 minutes.

No. 4: Tina’s Italian Ham

For this Italian-inspired ham, Tina slathers on a rub made of garlic, Rosemary, Italian seasoning, lemon zest, lemon juice and olive oil, cooks for 30 minutes, then bastes regularly with a fig glaze. Yum!
