John’s Mulled Autumn Punch
Ingredients
- 3 cups apple cider
- 1 cup cranberry juice,
- 1 cup pear juice,
- Bundle of sage, rosemary, and bay leaves
- 5 all spice berries
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Pear or regular brandy
- 1 bottle of red wine (I prefer Barbera)
- Sliced pear and fresh cranberries (for garnish)
Preparation
Heat all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Using a spider, remove solid ingredients before serving.
For non-alcoholic or kid-friendly drink, ladle the hot cider into a mug or goblet, garnish with cranberries and pear slices and serve.
Stir gently, garnish and serve.
