Apple Chips | Healthy Baked Snack
This recipe for making healthy baked apple chips at home comes from "MasterChef" judge and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot, who lost a whopping 147 pounds in 2020.
- 2 apples (Honeycrisp, Gala or Fuji are great but Granny Smiths work as well)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 200°F.
Slice apples as thin as possible using a mandolin (make sure seeds are removed).
On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, lay apples evenly and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 1 hour, then remove tray, flip apples over and bake for another hour. Once crisp, remove and allow to cool. Store in airtight container.
