Cucumber Margarita | John Cusimano
Rach's husband John gives the margarita a summer makeover using fresh cucumbers, jalapeños and a touch of elderflower liqueur.
Pair John's festive cocktail with Rach's Tex-Mex inspired recipe of Shrimp Nachos with Green Tomato or Raw Tomato Veracruz Salsa.
- 4 to 5 slices cucumber
- 2 jalapeño slices, seeded
- 2 ounces tequila blanco (John likes Patron Silver)
- 1 ounce elderflower liqueur (John likes St-Germain)
- 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle cucumber and jalapeño. Add remaining ingredients, fill with ice, shake vigorously, then strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
