Spicy Shandy Cocktail | John Cusimano At Home
The shandy—half-beer and half-lemonade—gets a spicy update from Rach's husband John.
Ingredients
- A few slices peeled fresh ginger, chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced, plus 1 slice for garnish
- 1 to 2 teaspoons simple syrup, or to taste
- Ice
- Beer
Preparation
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the ginger. Add a little water, lemon juice, a drizzle of simple syrup and ice. Cover and shake vigorously, then strain into a tumbler. Fill with more ice, if desired, and top with beer.
