4 Fun Snack Crafts You Have to do with Your Kids Before Summer is Over

Life - By on

Summer will be over before you know it, so now’s the time to set up some fun projects to do with your kids! Ayesha Curry, mom of two and wife of NBA MVP Steph Curry, is here to show you four fun and delicious DIY snacks your kids will love making – and eating!

No. 1: Graham Cracker Oceans

For this assemble-your-own snack, Ayesha and her daughter Riley make little graham cracker ocean-scapes. First, they dye whipped cream blue, spread it on graham crackers, then add multicolored sprinkles to represent sand and water, and top with fish-shaped crackers.

No. 2: Watermelon Popsicles

This project is so fun and easy. Ayesha makes popsicles from pureed watermelon, kiwi and chocolate chips that end up looking like slices of watermelon! And she uses a popsicle maker from Zoku that makes a popsicle in only 7 minutes!

No. 3: Sky and Clouds Jello Mason Jars

Start with a big batch of prepared blue jello, then mash it up until it has a “blob” consistency. Now, just spoon alternating amounts of jello and whipped cream so that you get a “sky and cloud” effect. How fun!

No. 4: Marshmallow Starfish

Start with flat marshmallows (sold now to use in S’mores) and cut them into star shapes with a cookie cutter. Dip in melted chocolate, then roll in graham cracker crumbs. For the last step, add edible googly eyes, and you’re done!
