The best part about his candy cake? You don’t have to make it from scratch.  He likes grabbing a pre-made one from the grocery store as a time-saving shortcut, but making it his own:

"I remove the icing and frosting that came on the cake, so that I can have a blank canvas to design my own candy cake. Then, I just smooth out all the existing frosting and add some fresh frosting, and have fun decorating with candy such as jelly beans, marshmallows and sprinkles."
