Geena Davis on Why She Wouldn't Have Written Her Memoir If Her Parents Were Still Alive

Actress Geena Davis explains why she wouldn't have written her new memoir Dying of Politeness if her parents were still alive.   

"I think I would not have written this when they were alive because we're so polite and shy and hide everything. My parents never knew I didn't get my diploma from college. I 'graduated' from Boston University, and, in fact, it says that [on] Wikipedia because I couldn't do interviews and admit that I didn't graduate because then my parents [would find out]. I don't know how I managed to trick them into thinking that I actually got the diploma," says Geena.
