How to Make Coffee Without a Coffee Pot or a Coffee Filter

If you run out of coffee filters while you're staying home — or if just don’t have a coffee pot, don't fret, cook and author of Dining Out Alison Roman says. 

Just put ground coffee in a kitchen pot and add hot water. Let it steep a bit, the coffee grinds will sink to the bottom, and you can just ladle your coffee out.
