Top Knot (High Bun) Hack From Kim Kardashian's Hairstylist Chris Appleton

Chris Appleton, hairstylist to stars like JLo and Kim Kardashian, shares his simple tips for a perfect, elevated top knot.

“We're just going to work the hair up. And when you're doing a top knot, the key little thing I always like to do is to follow the cheek bones...it gives you a nice little snatch," says Chris. 

"Then, you're going to tie it into a pony tail with a regular elastic. All you're going to do is tie it into a knot like a pair of shoe laces, and then we're going to bring it forward and tie it into a second knot," says Chris.
