Enter our guest, makeup guru Jenny Patinkin, the author of "Lazy Perfection," who says she more than understands the struggle — which is why she developed this foolproof plan.

Want to know exactly where to put you blush? All you have to do is make the O.K. sign with one hand and place your thumb up against your nose, like so:

That "O" on your cheek is exactly where to put your blush.

How easy is that?!

Now remember: Put it too high and you'll attract attention to the area right under your eyes. (Dark circles, anyone?) Pat too low and Jenny says your cheeks could look a little saggy. (Eeps!)

But if you add your blush right on that "O" and blend, you'll have nothing but a healthy flush — a la Amelia.
