Here's The 1 Comfort Food You SHOULD Eat If You're Feeling Sad or Going Through a Bad Breakup
Binging on ice cream and carbs from time to time comes with the dating territory (especially in your teenage years) … right?
Well, maybe, but if you actually want to feel better in the long-run, those foods may not be the way to go, says Dr. Oz.
"Food is the ultimate medicine," he stresses -- as long as it’s the RIGHT food!
So, instead of turning to sugar and carbs, the doc suggests what he’s dubbed his Mood-Elevating Chicken Tenders, which contain Omega-3 fats.
“The beauty of Omega-3 fats is they make the brain cells flexible,” he explains. “When your brain cells are flexible, they can adapt [and] react more effectively.”

(You can also find Omega-3 in fish oils and walnuts, Dr. Oz says.)
