No-Bake Chocolate-Peanut Butter Oat Protein Balls | Healthy Snack
These no-bake chocolate-peanut butter oat balls are a healthy, protein-packed snack that fitness influencer Tameika Gentles says helped her lose weight.
- 1½ cups rolled oats
- ¼ cup vegan chocolate protein powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds, soaked overnight in water, milk or plant-based milk
- 2 tablespoons chopped almonds or other nuts or seeds of choice
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- ½ cup natural peanut butter
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes
- A few tablespoons milk or plant-based milk
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix with clean hands. Roll into about 5 palm-sized balls. Wrap each ball individually in plastic wrap or aluminum foil to help hold their shape, then freeze until set, 1 to 2 hours. Unwrap the balls and refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to eat.
