Rach put it best: "Menopause is something that is not openly discussed among women… But because menopause is about aging—and we tend to feel so uncomfortable about aging in general—maybe that's why people don't discuss menopause."
Luckily for us, ladies, the ever-stylish Stacy London is trying to change all that with her new venture, State of Menopause, a collection of products designed to help raise a woman’s comfort and confidence during that specific time in her life.
Obviously, we can get behind all that! Which is why we asked Stacy to come on the show and share her "Menopause Diaries."
But she did us one better: she shared her must-have menopause products to keep cool, too, from her own line and beyond.
1. P.Volve P.Band
When Stacy wakes up with "kinks" in the morning, she turns to this P.Volve band. "[It]…does strength training and flexibility and stability training," she says.
2. State of Menopause Cooling Spray
After stretching, Stacy gets to her morning skin routine. "[This] works not just to cool down my face, but as a great toner," she says.
3. State of Menopause Cooling Facial Moisturizer
"It's glycerin-based, not cream," Stacy explains, "so it's very lightweight."
4. State of Menopause Hydrogel Face Mask
"For any weeknight or weekend when I'm feeling a bit tired," says Stacy, "…I put on this [mask] and I just chill. 10, 20 minutes, my skin feels totally refreshed and hydrated.”
5. State of Menopause Arnica Hand & Joint Cream
Stacy says she's never cared so much about hand cream in her life—and especially loves this one. "It smells delicious!" she promises. But more importantly, she says, thanks to inclusion of arnica, an ancient flower used for centuries to treat inflammation, "It also helps soothe my sore joints."
6. The Coco Body Bar
Stacy adores this two-sided pillow—velvet on one side (great for hair and skin and coziness) and quilted on the other (designed to keep you cool!).
7. WynneLayers Chiffon Safari Jacket
Stacy wore this in our studio and noted her favorite feature—the drawstring, which helps to accentuate your waistline, even on days when you feel like yours is hiding.
8. Giapenta Sonoma Brief
Last, but not least, Stacy's current underwear of choice: Giapenta's thermo-regulated briefs. "When you're hot, it's cold, and when you're cold, it gets hot," she says.
