Should You Opt for Hydrogen Peroxide To Clean Your Ear Wax?
It’s here! What better way to celebrate a new season than with a — drumroll — brand-spankin’-new kitchen?!
After visiting her upstate home and gathering inspiration, Rach’s good friends, HGTV's "The Cousins," Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri, offered to renovate our studio kitchen, giving it a fresh — and, of course, colorful! — update.
Watch the video to see the big reveal!
Just a few of the fabulous changes?
• A matte, tricolor backsplash, one of the easiest ways to update your kitchen on a budget
• An industrial steel countertop, incorporating the metallics that continue to be on-trend
• A FlowerBox wall garden, perfect for the person who loves live plants but hates watering
• A new Big Chill fridge in a strong slate hue, quite possibly Rach’s favorite addition

“I love that fridge!” she says. “My first fridge ever on '30 Minute Meals' was Big Chill, and this is a Big Chill too, so that’s good luck… It’s rustic and warm, but it’s elegant.”
And, if you ask Rachael, pretty sexy, too! “I don’t know if you find fridges as hot as I do. But this Big Chill ain’t chilly, it’s hot!” she says, laughing.
The boys added one more sweet touch, too: owl wallpaper, a shout out to Rach’s family’s nickname for her.

“[My family calls me] ‘little hoot,’ because I was a night owl as a kid,” Rach explains. “I have a lot of owls, so that’s why you chose wallpaper with owls.”
John confirms, saying, “We wanted to bring you into this kitchen and showcase you to everyone!”
Best BFFs ever, right?
We’d like to give a big shoutout to all of the companies who helped bring Rachael’s new kitchen to life, including Lowes, Knockout Renovation, Big Chill, FlowerBox, Hoboken Iron Works, Kohler, Real Antique Wood, Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co., Stikwood, Mirth Studio, Juju Papers and Mosaic House.
