There's always a lot of talk about counting calories to lose weight, but is it the way to go? Well, dietician Keri Glassman gets asked that very question quite often — and here's her answer.
According to Keri, "Ditch the calculators, we do NOT need to be counting our calories."
What's her advice instead? "Eat whole real foods [and] listen to your body. Stop when you're satisfied."
Because as she reminds us, "Calories are not all created equal. 100 calories of jelly beans is not the same as 100 calories of a little apple and peanut butter, which has lots of nutrients and will satisfy you."
