This DIY from Dylan Silver, Host of HGTV's "You Wish You Lived Here" on Snapchat, creates a nice accent piece for the walls of any home. And the best part? There are only five steps!
1. Choose + Mount Your Fabric
Pick out a frame and a fun piece of fabric from a craft store. Use spray adhesive on the back of the fabric to mount it on a wood plank.
2. Personalize Using Adhesive Letters
The next step is to personalize your design with a fun word or phrase using adhesive letters. Use painter's tape to cover the bottom of the fabric.

3. Paint Over Everything
Paint over the adhesive letters and the painter's tape — which will ensure that your lines are straight — and, once you pull it off, you'll still see some of the fabric.
"Make sure that you're pressing on the letters themselves, so that the paint doesn't bleed through," Dylan says. "Do the same with the area where you have painter's tape."
4. Peel + Reveal
Peel off the adhesive letters and the painter's tape to reveal the pattern of the fabric underneath!
5. Finish With A Frame
Last but not least, frame your masterpiece for a professional-looking finish.
